One more thing to add that I know I am excited about, along with many of our current customers, is that there will be free phone and email support included now. These are just a few of the differences that are included with the new cloud platform. We can now manage both our Mac and Windows products from the new cloud console also! All of these packages will download the latest versions when they are created. MSI and EXE packages are still available as well. There is still a deployment tool available as well that is able to run a ip sweep for clients or pull in the clients via AD.
There is multiple options for deployment now a light-weight package that can pull down the pre-reqs is available for environments that might be bandwidth conscious, as well as a package that contains everything. It has been consolidated with the Anti-malware and Anti-exploit product into a single agent now, where in the past we had to install each application separately, we now only have to install one program, and the new installer will uninstall all previous Malwarebytes products as well, so deployment can be a bit more clean. The differences may seem mysterious at first but I assure you they become more apparent as you play with the platform (Took me a bit of time to get familiar too!)Īdded to the cloud Endpoint Protection, which might stand out right away, is Anti-Ransomware as a managed agent.
